Nathan Coates Plumbing Pty Ltd was engaged to complete the roofing and roof plumbing works at Sydney Park Village Stages 5A, 5B, & 6. These works were completed in January 2003. My position as Site Manager on the project exposed me to high involvement with the works undertaken. The project consisted of three (3) separate buildings approximately 1600m2 each in roof area. The roofing works were completely concurrently on each building. The roofing works were completed in approximately two (2) months. Nathan Coates Plumbing were a pleasure to work with. All members of the company performed extremely well and completed the project to a high standard of quality. The roofing being on the critical path to the success of the project was completed in excellent time. Overtime was worked regularly and did not have to be requested by Multiplex. Nathan Coates Plumbing have since completed several Multiplex projects and I believe the company is managed in a very professional, positive way. Variations were treated fairly and management always approachable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Nathan Coates Plumbing for future projects. It is my personal opinion that if Nathan Coates Plumbing did not work in the manner done so, the project would not be the success that it is. I have been asked to provide a reference for Nathan Coates Plumbing Pty Ltd and it is with great pleasure that I give this reference. Nathan Coates Plumbing has undertaken four recent projects tht I have been involved in as the Contracts Administrator they are listed as follows; 1. Miele Warehouse @ Frenchs Forest Subcontract works including Hydraulic services and the Roofing/Roof Plumbing works 2. Aldi Store @ Minto Subcontract works included Hydraulic Services 3. Manly Golf Club Subcontract works included Hydraulic Services 4. DPWS School Up Grade Works Subcontract Works included undertaking a complete upgrade of a number of toilet blocks on a variety of school spread over the inner and outer Sydney area, the works included a high level of coordination with the schools representatives, sub trades and Multiplex. Nathan Coates also undertook general plumbing, CCTV Reports and associated stormwater works on schools which did not require toilet upgrades. The project was completed despite the near impossible contract programme. On the above projects Nathan Coates Plumbing performed in accordance with the Multiplex standard Subcontract Agreement and worked together with Multiplex in achieving the projects Practical Completion Dates. Nathan Coates quality of work, attitude in undertaking the works and communication with all parties involved in the contract generally on the above projects was of a standard of a subcontractor looking to maintain a good working relationship with the builder.
